WHO WE ARE

Dr Paul Davis owns Jurassic Ammonites.  Paul has been a professional palaeontologist, lecturer and teacher for over 30 years.  He has been collecting fossils for over 45 years.  He has worked at many museums and universities in the UK, Japan & the USA including spending 10 years as the Registrar of the Natural History Museum in London.  Paul was one of the people who started the annual Lyme Regis Fossil Festival and is one of the Honorary Patrons of the Charmouth Heritage Centre for his scientific knowledge on the geology and palaeontology of the region.  He has written many scientific papers and has written and edited books including the Palaeontological Association volume 'Fossils from the Lower Lias of the Dorset Coast'.
